Just In: Senate Orders NCC To Halt Planned Data Price Hike

Senate now resolves to halt the new tariff approval.

The Senate on Wednesday ordered the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to immediately halt the planned data tariff hike.

According to the Upper Chamber, before any such hike could be announced all parties should be consulted.
