Do you know people still worship cultural masquerade even as terrifying as it could look

This is a culture of the people in ebonyi state most especially in afikpo south part of the state.this terrifying masquerade will dance round the village as part of the rituals perform during initiations rites into adult hood, according to their believe. If you are not initiated into to this cult the see you as a woman and can not come out on some kind of traditional rituals which the usually observe every year, and any attempt to disobey this you will be severely fine.....
Now here is the question do you really think that in this 21st century someone should be denied a right of moving around his own community just because some traditions are meant to be observed if you are not yet initiated into the cult? What do you think do you believe the are still doing the right thing or should this part of the cultures be demolish.
